This 25" x 22" watercolor painting of the cabin was commissioned by Gail and Bob Davidson. It was painted from several old photos of their original cabin as it looked when they first purchased it. Their comments on seeing the finished painting,
"Mary, You have surpassed our expectations. We both love the painting, and it takes me back to the day when we first looked at it and decided to buy. It was very shabby, completely unlivable, yet had a warmth and feeling of family. I knew we would love working on it and bringing it back to life. Bob really likes the detail on the cabin, the peeling roof, the stained siding, etc. I like that also, but I love the beauty of the mountain behind it."
